Softphones with .tel support
This section describes the VoIP phones that support dialling .tel domains. Please see detailed descriptions of each softphone, its capabilities and level of support for .tel domains. Please note that these applications are not developed by Telnic, and are hosted and supported by third parties.
voipGATE .tel Softphone
This VoIP softphone provides support for .tel domain names: you can type in a .tel name in the input field and hit Enter. If only one phone number is found, the phone dials it automatically; if multiple numbers are found, you can choose which to dial. You can also save .tels into the address book and edit your own .tel contact data. To start using the phone, you need to sign up to voipGATE for free; to call fee-based numbers, you need to have money on your voipGATE account.

This free VoIP softphone supports dialling .tel domain names and storing them in the phone book.
