| 12 | <p>The .tel developer community has produced several user applications for |
| 13 | retrieving and editing data stored in .tel domains. We welcome developers interested in |
| 14 | further improvement of this code base, in adding new features and new applications |
| 15 | in the .tel paradigm. This is an excellent opportunity to |
| 16 | try the code out and help make it better.</p> |

| 18 | <p>All currently available applications can perform the basic .tel related applications, namely:</p> |

| 20 | <li>Look up .tel domains and add them to the address book</li> |
| 21 | <li>Directly launch applications corresponding to .tel contacts, e.g., |
| 22 | start a call by clicking a phone number or a new message by clicking an email address</li> |
| 23 | <li>Add other domains to "friends" to exchange sensitive information that is not publicly available</li> |
